Terms of Service

Last updated: October 2026

By using Lantern, you agree to these terms. Please read the educational-use section below closely — it’s the most important part.

Educational use only

Not medical advice

This is for education only and is not a diagnosis or medical advice. Lantern’s quizzes, articles, and results are general information about perimenopause and menopause — they are not a substitute for an evaluation by a qualified healthcare provider, and using them does not create a provider–patient relationship. Always talk to a qualified healthcare provider about your own health and before making any medical decisions.

Quiz results are phrased as possibilities (“your answers sound most like…”), never as a diagnosis. If something you read here concerns you, the right next step is a conversation with your provider, not a conclusion drawn from this site.

Using the site

You’re welcome to use Lantern’s quizzes and articles for your own personal, non-commercial use. Please don’t scrape, republish, or resell our content, or attempt to disrupt the site for other visitors.

The provider directory

Find Care lists practitioners who focus on perimenopause and menopause care. Lantern doesn’t vet, endorse, or guarantee the quality of any listed provider, and we’re not a party to any relationship you form with one. You choose who to contact, and that conversation is between you and them.

Newsletter and reports

If you opt in to the newsletter or request a full quiz report by email, we’ll send exactly that — see our Privacy Policy for how that information is handled. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Intellectual property

The Lantern name, logo, and original content are ours. You’re welcome to link to our pages; please don’t reproduce them elsewhere without asking first.

No warranty

Lantern is provided “as is.” We work to keep articles accurate and up to date, but we don’t guarantee the content is complete, current, or error-free, and we’re not liable for decisions made based on it. This is education, not a clinical tool.

Changes to these terms

If we make a meaningful change to these terms, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
